Oklahoma Avenue in the City of West Allis, in the amount of $1,148,253.12.

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid Globe Contractors, Inc. for 2010 Project No. 6 be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of Globe Contractors, Inc. for 2010 Project No. 6 for:

asphalt resurfacing of the pavement including the cracking and seating of the pavement with miscellaneous driveway and sidewalk repair, sanitary sewer relay, storm sewer relay and utility adjustments in:

West Beloit Road from S. 84th Street to W. Oklahoma Avenue

(PLAN FILE NOS. SP-1155, M-10, U-2510, S-1419, S-1420, S-1421, S-1422)

for the sum of One Million One Hundred Forty-eight Thousand Two Hundred Fifty-three and 12/100 dollars ($1,148,253.12)

be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said improvements be installed with funding by Sanitary Sewer Funds, Storm Water Management Funds, Water Utility Funds, Bond Funds, Funds from Special Assessm...
