Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Utility Sales & Service for furnishing a 2017 Versalift VST-6000i Aerial Device, attached to a 2018 International 4300 4x2 Truck Chassis with a 13’ aluminum flatbed with warranty for a total net sum of $190,858.00.

Body

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Division has reported that it has received proposals for providing a 65’ aerial lift device with truck and chassis, and has selected the proposal from Utility Sales & Service to provide this equipment for the City of West Allis; and

WHEREAS,  the Common Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Utility Sales & Service be accepted.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis, that the proposal dated December 23, 2016, submitted by Utility Sales & Service for providing one 2017 Versalift VST-6000i Aerial Device, attached to a 2018 International 4300 4x2 Truck Chassis with a 13’ aluminum flatbed with warranty for a total net sum of $190,858.00 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid service.
