Title

Ordinance to amend Subsection 5.03(8)(b) of the City of West Allis Revised Municipal Code increasing the crash billing fee from $250 to $500.

 

Body

The Common Council for the City of West Allis do ordain as follows:

 

PART I.  Subsection 5.03(8)(b) of the City of West Allis Revised Municipal Code is hereby amended to read:

 

5.03                     Fire Chief.

(8)                     Crash Billing Fee.

 

(b)                     The fee for the Fire Department service shall be five hundred dollars ($500.00) per owned vehicle. This fee shall apply only when the Fire Department performs a function or activity related to a crash and not simply for responding to the scene.

 

PART II.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

 

PART III.  This ordinance shall take effect on January 1, 2018 and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
