Resolution to approve bid of Capitol Pavers, Inc. for removal and reconstruction of the concrete alley pavement, storm sewer, utility adjustments and storm underdrain in various locations in the City of West Allis, in the amount of $775,717.50.

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of Capitol Pavers, Inc. for 2004 Project No. 10 be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of Capitol Pavers, Inc. for 2004 Project No. 10:
Alley Reconstruction at
various locations in the City of West Allis
(Plan File No(s). AP-324 through AP-338 & U-2348 through U-2362)
for the sum of Seven Hundred Seventy-five Thousand, Seven Hundred Seventeen Dollars and Fifty Cents ($775,717.50)
be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said improvements be installed with funding by Bond Funds, Storm Water Management Funds and Special Assessments.
