Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of McNeilus Truck & Mfg. for furnishing and installing one (1) refuse collection packer for a total sum of $55,722.00.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for one (1) rear load refuse collection packer for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of McNeilus Truck & Mfg. be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal submitted on September 10, 2007 by McNeilus Truck & Mfg. for furnishing and installing one (1) 2007 McNeilus Model 2011 rear load refuse collection packer for a total net sum of $55,722.00 in accordance with City of West Allis RFP #963 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
