Title

Resolution Authorizing and Directing the Director of Public Works/City Engineer to Pay for Sanitary Sewer Emergency Repairs at 1453 South 95th Street and at 1424 South 57th Street in the Total Amount of $13,589.00.

 

Body

WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works has a long standing policy of the City's responsibility for making repairs to sanitary sewer laterals from the point of connection to the main sanitary sewer line up through the riser connection; and,

 

WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has determined that the sanitary sewer lateral connections at 1453 South 95th Street and at 1424 South 57th Street failed based on field observations; and,

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the Director of Public Works/City Engineer be and is hereby authorized and directed to make fair payment for the repair work to UPI, LLC in the amount of $13,589.00.  Payment to be made from the appropriate Sanitary Sewer Utility account.
