Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of GRAEF for providing Engineering Consulting Services for an estimated sum of $125,620.00.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for Engineering Consulting Services for the Engineering Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, GRAEF was rated number one by all interviewers/graders; and,

WHEREAS, subsequent to the evaluation team rating the firms, the team unanimously recommended that the contract be awarded to the best qualified firm with the lowest bid price, GRAEF; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of GRAEF be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal submitted March 10, 2010 by GRAEF for furnishing Engineering Consulting Services for a Sewer System Evaluation Study for an estimated sum of $125,620.00 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid services.
