Resolution to approve bid of Payne & Dolan, Inc. for asphalt resurfacing of the pavement including the cracking and seating of the pavement with miscellaneous driveway and sidewalk repair, water main relay, sanitary spot relay, storm sewer relay and utility adjustments in various locations in the City of West Allis in the amount of $1,379,875.46.

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of Payne & Dolan, Inc. for 2011 Project No. 11 be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of Payne & Dolan, Inc. for 2011 Project No. 11 for:
asphalt resurfacing of the pavement including the cracking and seating of the pavement with miscellaneous driveway and sidewalk repair, water main relay, sanitary spot relay, storm sewer relay and utility adjustments in:
W. National Ave.: 120' East of S. 82nd St. to 365' West of S. 84th St.
S. 84th St.: 75' North of Maple St. to 155' South of W. National Ave.
S. 77th St.: W. Grant St. to W. Lincoln Ave.
S. 80th St.: W. Grant St. to 700' North of W. Grant St.
W. Oklahoma Ave. Service Drive: S. 72nd St. to S. 74th St.
S. 99th St.: W. Cleveland Ave. to W. Oklahoma Ave.
