Resolution relative to accepting the proposals of various nurseries for furnishing and delivering 246 trees for spring planting for a total sum of $23,668.25.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for various species of trees for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposals hereinafter mentioned be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposals submitted by Acorn Farms for $7,243.00, Erv Larsen Landscape & Supplies for $1,335.00, Johnson's Nursery for $2,148.00, Kankakee Nursery for $2,727.00, McKay Nursery for $3,249.25, Minors Garden Center for $1,496.00, Needles & Leaves Nursery for $631.00, Schichtel's Nursery for $2,774.00 and Timberline Trees for $2,065.00 for a total amount of $23,668.26 in accordance with City of West Allis RFP #829 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid trees.
