Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Ewald Hartford Ford for furnishing and delivering one (1) 2010 Hybrid Ford Fusion for a total sum of $25,807.00.

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received a joint proposal through V.A.L.U.E. in Local Government for furnishing one (1) Hybrid Ford Fusion for the Police Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposal received was reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Ewald Hartford Ford be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal submitted by Ewald Hartford Ford for furnishing and delivering one (1) 2010 Hybrid Ford Fusion for a total net sum of $25,807.00 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West that $8,000 from the amount designated for Capital Projects related to public access, green initiatives & internal rehab be transferred to the Police Vehicle fund.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the remaining balance be paid with $8,630 from the EECBG alternative vehicle grant and $9,177 from the asset forfeiture account.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
