An Ordinance to Create Subsection 7.123(3)(i) of the West Allis Revised Municipal Code Relating to Fences for Animal Fancier Permit.

The Common Council of the City of West Allis do ordain as follows:
PART I. Subsection 7.123(3)(i) of the Revised Municipal Code of the City of West Allis is hereby created to read:
7.123 ANIMAL FANCIER PERMIT.

(3) Conditions for Issuing and Maintaining of Permit.
* * *
(i) All permit holders who own or harbor a dog shall have, at their residence, a fence that completely encloses the back yard and is secure enough to prevent a dog from exiting the yard under its own volition. The fence shall comply with Section 13.31 of the Revised Municipal Code.

PART II. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
PART III. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
