Title

Ordinance to amend subsection 13.28(14)(c) of the City of West Allis Revised Municipal Code regarding Property Maintenance Appeals Board meetings being held at the call of the Chairperson.

Body

PART I.      Subsection 13.28(14)(c) of the City of West Allis Revised Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:

13.28 PROPERTY MAINTENANCE CODE

(14)      Property Maintenance Code Appeals Board

      (c)      The Board shall meet at the call of the Chairperson.  All hearings before the Board shall be open to the public.  The appellant, the appellant's representative, the Code Official or any person whose interests are affected shall be given an opportunity to be heard.  A quorum shall consist of not less than three (3) Board members.

PART II.      All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

PART III.      This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
