Resolution to approve bid of Cream City Wrecking & Dismantling, LLC. for the decommissioning and demolition project at the former Chalet Restaurant located at 6215 W. National Avenue in the City of West Allis, in the amount of $35,774.00.

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of Cream City Wrecking & Dismantling, LLC. for 2010 Project No. 8 be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of Cream City Wrecking & Dismantling, LLC. for 2010 Project No. 8 for decommissioning and demolition of:
Chalet Restaurant located at 6215 W. National Avenue
for the sum of Thirty-Five Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy-Four and 00/100 dollars ($35,774.00)
be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said improvements be made with funding by the City's General Fund, ultimately to be charged to the property owner.
