Title

Resolution relative to accepting the sole source proposal of Bentley Systems, Inc. for providing CAD Software Maintenance for a total net sum of $13,341.00.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing Division has reported that it has received a proposal for furnishing CAD Software Maintenance for the Engineering, GIS and Public Works Departments of the City of West Allis; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Bentley Systems, Inc. be accepted; and,

WHEREAS, The Information Technology & Communications Department has determined that this contract is inappropriate for competitive selection due to the compatibility of the subscription service with the CAD platform service provided by this company.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated October 6, 2015 submitted by Bentley Systems, Inc. for furnishing CAD Software Maintenance for 2016 for the total net sum of $13,341.00 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid service.
