Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of various nurseries for furnishing and delivering 278 trees for spring planting for a total sum of $18,764.00.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for various species of trees for the Public Work's Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposals hereinafter mentioned be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal submitted by Johnson's Nursery for $1,746.00, Kankakee Nursery for $2,534.00, Erv Larsen Landscape for $1,864.00, McKay Nursery for $4,306.50, Midpark Nursery for $1,042.00, Needles & Leaves for $980.00, Schichtel's Nursery for $4,723.00, Silver Creek Nursery for $528.50 and Wayside Nursery for $1,040.00 for a total sum of $18,764.00 in accordance with City of West Allis RFP #758 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to issue purchase orders for the aforesaid trees.
