Title
Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Environmental Equipment Solutions LLC for furnishing and delivering one (1) used split body rear load truck body for a total net sum of $29,376.00.
 
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received a proposal for one (1) used split body, rear load truck body for the Solid Waste Utility of the City of West Allis; and,
 
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Environmental Equipment Solutions LLC be accepted; and,
 
WHEREAS, the Fleet Services Division of the Department of Public Works has determined that this contract is inappropriate for competitive selection because of the money saved from buying a used body instead of a new one.
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated May 25, 2010 submitted by Environmental Equipment Solutions, LLC for furnishing and delivering one (1) used 2007 G & H model R-9025-2, 25 yard, 60/40 split truck body for the total net sum of $29,376.00 be and is hereby accepted.
 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
