Resolution Requesting a Waiver from Trans 75 Requirements for Bicycle Accommodations on S. 100th St. Construction due to the Constrained Environment Exception.

WHEREAS, The City of West Allis has entered into an Agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) to replace S.100th St (From a point approximately 315ft south of Orchard St. to Orchard St.) as part of the Zoo Interchange Reconstruction in the City of West Allis. (WisDOT Project No. 1060-33-80/81); and,
 
WHEREAS, The City of West Allis Common Council has determined that the proposed S. 100TH St. Reconstruction meets the conditions outlined in Wisconsin Administration Code, Trans 75.06 "Constrained Environment" Exception (WisDOT Exception 3) for pedestrian and bicycle accommodations (installation of sidewalks and bikeways).
 
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the West Allis Common Council that the proposed S. 100th St reconstruction, as part of the Zoo Interchange reconstruction, (WisDOT Project No. 1060-33-80/81) meets the conditions outlined in Wisconsin Administrative Code, Trans 75.06 "Constrained Environment" Exception (WisDOT Exception 3) for pedestrian and bicycle accommodations (installation of sidewalks and bikeways).
