Resolution of Commendation for Mayor Jeannette Bell

WHEREAS, Mayor Jeannette Bell has retired as Mayor of the City of West Allis after serving twelve (12) years in this capacity for the City of West Allis; and,
WHEREAS, Mayor Jeannette Bell has faithfully and conscientiously served the citizens and businesses of West Allis during her tenure; and,
WHEREAS, Mayor Jeannette Bell has contributed significantly to the renovation, rejuvenation, and redevelopment of the City of West Allis; and,
WHEREAS, Mayor Jeannette Bell has served the City, the greater community, and the State throughout her entire public service career; and,
WHEREAS, Mayor Jeannette Bell is deserving of special recognition and commendation for her years of leadership and dedicated service.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that Mayor Jeannette Bell be and is hereby specifically commended for her dedication and service to the citizens and businesses of West Allis and congratulated on a job well done.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Common Council hereby extends to Mayor Bell and her family its best wishes for a long, prosperous, and happy retirement.
Let this resolution be entered in the official minutes of the Common Council and a certified copy go forth to Jeannette Bell.
