Title

An Ordinance relative to amend Sections 1.02, 1.021 and 3.05(5)(a) of the Revised Municipal Code to change the term "Aldermen to Alderpersons"

Body

The Common Council of the City of West Allis do ordain as follows:

PART I.                     Section 1.02 of the Revised Municipal Code is hereby amended by deleting the reference to “Aldermen” therein and substituting therefore the term “Alderpersons”.

PART II.                     Section 1.021 of the Revised Municipal Code is hereby amended by deleting the reference to “Aldermen” therein and substituting therefore the term “Alderpersons”.

PART III.                     Section 3.05(5)(a) of the Revised Municipal Code is hereby amended by deleting the reference to “Aldermen” therein and substituting therefore the term “Alderpersons”.

PART IV.                     All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

PART V.                     This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
