Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Ewald Automotive Group for furnishing and delivering three (3) pickup trucks for a total sum of $89,075.00.

Body

WHEREAS the Purchasing Division has reported that it has received a proposal through the State of Wisconsin Contract #15-07006-400 for furnishing three (3) trucks for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis; and,

WHEREAS, the Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Ewald Automotive Group, the State of Wisconsin contract holder be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated May 14, 2015 submitted by Ewald Automotive Group for one (1) 2016 Ford Super Duty F250 SRW 2WD regular cab for $21,532.00; one (1) 2015 Ford Super Duty F450 DRW 4WD regular cab for $38,720.00 and one (1) 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 4WD pickup truck for $28,823.00 for a total net sum of $89,075.00 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid vehicles.
