Resolution Authorizing and Directing the Director of Public Works/City Engineer to Pay For Sanitary Sewer Lateral Repairs at 2415 South 72nd Street in the Total Amount of $12,551.99.

WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works has a long standing policy of the City's responsibility for making repairs to sanitary sewer laterals from the point of connection to the main sanitary sewer line up through the riser connection; and,
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has determined that the sanitary sewer lateral at 2415 South 72nd Street failed based on field observations; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the Director of Public Works/City Engineer be and is hereby authorized and directed to make fair payment for the repair work to M.J. Construction, Inc. in the amount of $11,788.44 and to reimburse the property owner, Scott Latus, the total amount of $763.55.for the costs to clean the lateral of $127.50 to Drain Pain Sewer Cleaning, LLC and for cleaning and televising the lateral of $636.05 to Gene Wagner Plumbing Co., Inc. Payments to be made from the appropriate Sanitary Sewer Utility account.
