Title
Resolution approving a West Allis Neighborhood Association Small Grant Program Organizational Grant to Conrad Gardens Neighborhood Association in the amount of $500.

Body
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis, along with staff and citizens, recognize the importance of developing and maintaining healthy neighborhoods throughout the community; and,

WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of West Allis under Resolution R-2014-0099, approved a City of West Allis Neighborhood Small Grant Program to provide small grants to help organize neighborhood associations and to provide grants for neighborhood enhancement projects; and,

WHEREAS, the grant application submitted by the Conrad Gardens Neighborhood Association is hereby attached and has been reviewed by staff and recommended to the Mayor in accordance with program policies and is recommended for approval; and,

WHEREAS, the grant meets the criteria of the West Allis Neighborhood Small Grant Program to provide neighborhood associations assistance to organize and once established-resources to create and/or operate special programs or activities that make West Allis neighborhoods unique, better, and beautiful.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that it hereby approves a Small Grant under the City of West Allis Neighborhood Small Grant Program to the Conrad Gardens Neighborhood Association in the amount of $500 for material and items for social meeting and meeting costs for organizational information & other organizational costs.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor or his designee is authorized to enter into a grant agreement by and between the City of West Allis and the Conrad Gardens Neighborhood Association for the project.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that up to $500 be appropriated from the West Allis Neighborhood Small Grant Program Organizational Grant.
