Resolution relative to the renewal of the agreement with Wisconsin Correctional Service for West Allis Mediation Center for 2004.
Body
WHEREAS, the Wisconsin Correctional Service has provided the City of West Allis with mediation services for neighborhood disputes, and
WHEREAS, the City of West Allis has authorized staff to proceed with preparing a renewal agreement with the Wisconsin Correctional Service for the continuation of the West Allis Mediation Center for 2004, and
WHEREAS, 2004 City funds have been allocated for this purpose, and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City and the Wisconsin Correctional Service to enter into an agreement for the provision of mediation services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the attached agreement for mediation services (West Allis Mediation Center) through the Wisconsin Correctional Service for 2004 be and is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Administration and Finance is hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver said agreement on behalf of the City.
