Resolution to approve bid of LaLonde Contractors, Inc. for street construction, sanitary sewer relay, sanitary sewer lining, storm sewer relay, storm sewer, water main relay, building services & utility adjustments in various locations within the City of West Allis, in the amount of $781,371.50.

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of LaLonde Contractors, Inc. for 2008 Project No. 9 be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of LaLonde Contractors, Inc. for 2008 Project No. 9:
Street Construction, Sanitary Sewer Relay, Sanitary Sewer Lining, Storm Sewer Relay, Storm Sewer, Water Main Relay, Building Services & Utility Adjustments in
West Villa Circle from West Euclid Avenue to 235' South of West Euclid Avenue,
West Rust Court from 200' East of South 119th Street to South 119th Street,
West Verona Court from 173' Southwest of South 122nd Street to West Holt Avenue,
West Burdick Avenue from South 119th Street to South 121st Street
(PLAN FILE NOS. SP-1130, SP-1131, SP-1132, S-1352, U-2452, U-2453, U-2454, W-1243)
for the sum of Seven Hundred Eighty-One Thousand Three Hundred Seventy One Dollars and Fifty cents ($781,371.50)
be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,
