Resolution allocating Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Recovery Funds to the Community Development Authority of the City of West Allis to perform housing related activities.
Body
WHEREAS, the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) awarded the City of West Allis under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act $574,434 in Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Recovery Funds (HPRP) Funds; and,
WHEREAS, the Community Development Authority of West Allis (the “Authority”) is administrating housing related programs through the Housing Authority; and,
WHEREAS, the HPRP funds are allocated to the Authority to provide financial assistance to individuals meeting the homeless definition.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Common Council of the City of West Allis hereby allocates Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Recovery Funds to the Community Development Authority of the City of West Allis to perform housing related activities.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Authority will be responsible to be in compliance with all required federal regulations for the HPRP funds.
