Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of AEC CadCon/Bentley Systems, Inc. to provide GeoPak Civil Engineering software and maintenance for a total net sum of $5,671.25.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received a proposal for furnishing GeoPak Civil Engineering Suite Select software and maintenance for the Engineering Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposal received was reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, the Information Services Division has determined that this contract is inappropriate for competitive selection due to compatibility of the software with the current surveying module, GeoPak Survey, used in the Engineering Department for data collection from the field; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of AEC CadCon/Bentley Systems, Inc. be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated October 14, 2003 submitted by AEC CadCon/Bentley Systems, Inc. to provide GeoPak Civil Engineering Suite Select for $4,571.25 and Maintenance for $1,100.00 for the total net sum of $5,671.25 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter a contract for the aforesaid material.
