Resolution authorizing the Director of Development to issue a Request for Proposal for a hotel for State Fair Park.
Body
WHEREAS, the Common Council approved Resolution No. R-2004-0113 in cooperation with the Fair Park Board's wish to determine if a hotel facility in the area of the Wisconsin State Fair Park grounds is feasible; and,
WHEREAS, both parties will mutually benefit by the establishment of a quality hotel on Wisconsin State Fair Park property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the Director of Development, working together with the Wisconsin State Fair Park Exposition Center, Inc. be and is hereby authorized to issue a Request for Proposal for a hotel facility on Wisconsin State Fair Park grounds.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be and is hereby authorized to make such non-substantive changes, modifications, additions and deletions to and from the various provisions of the Request for Proposal, including any and all attachments, exhibits, addendums and amendments, as may be necessary and proper to correct inconsistencies, eliminate ambiguity and otherwise clarify and supplement said provisions to preserve and maintain the general intent thereof, and to prepare and deliver such other and further documents as may be reasonably necessary to complete the transactions contemplated therein.
