Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Central Ready Mix for furnishing concrete and slurry for the estimated total amount of $32,244.00.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received proposals for furnishing concrete and slurry for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received were reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Central Read Mix be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated April 23, 2004 submitted by Central Ready Mix for furnishing concrete and slurry for street construction as required from May 1, 2004 through April 30, 2005 for an approximate net sum of $32,244.00 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid materials.
