Resolution relative to clarifying membership of the West Allis Community Celebrations Committee.
Body
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 27275, adopted December 17, 2002, established the members of the West Allis Community Celebrations Committee; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to clarify that portion of Committee membership that pertains to Representatives of Sponsoring and/or Contributing Organizations; and,
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City and community that one of the three Representatives of Sponsoring and/or Contributing Organizations be the West Allis Charities' President or his/her Designee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the West Allis Charities, Inc. President or his/her Designee shall serve as one of the three Representatives of Sponsoring and/or Contributing Organizations, subject to appointment by the Mayor and approved by the Common Council.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Charities Representative is appointed to serve concurrent with his/her term as the West Allis Charities, Inc. President; the other two Representatives of Sponsoring and/or Contributing Organizations are appointed to serve for a three-year term.
