Title

Resolution to Remove Flashing Hazard Identification Beacons in the 6600 Block of West Beloit Road.

Body

WHEREAS, the original purpose for the flashing hazard identification beacons no longer exists since the Mount Carmel Church/St. Joan Antida property in the 6600 block of West Beloit Road has changed its use; and,

WHEREAS, the flashing hazard identification beacons have been off since January, 2003, with no complaints.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that flashing hazard identification beacons at the mid-block crosswalk in the 6600 Block of West Beloit Road be permanently discontinued and removed.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Public Works is hereby authorized and directed to arrange for the removal.
