Resolution to authorize the Director of Public Works and Information Technology Director to amend an existing agreement with Symbiont, Inc. for GIS support services related to the design of GIS applications in an amount not to exceed $43,000.

WHEREAS, the City has an existing agreement with Symbiont, Inc. for GIS services for the design of various GIS applications in the amount of $7,500; and,
WHEREAS, the City will need further assistance from Symbiont to provide GIS services and create a variety of GIS applications to allow the Department of Public Works to update the variety of assets the Department maintains.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that up to $43,000 is hereby approved for Symbiont, Inc. for the design of various GIS applications to assist in the documentation of maintenance and service levels for the City’s designated assets; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Information Technology Director be and is hereby authorized to enter into an amended agreement for the creation of various GIS applications with Symbiont, Inc.; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that funding for this professional services agreement be transferred from the Public Works Sanitation and Street Salary account number 100-4218-531-1101 in the amount not to exceed $43,000 into account number 100-1101-517-3002, General Fund, IT Professional Services.
