Title

Resolution approving an agreement between the City of West Allis and the Paymentus Corporation for electronic bill payment services.

Body

WHEREAS, the City of West Allis has used Official Payments for electronic bill payment services; and,

WHEREAS, Paymentus Corporation also provides such electronic bill payment services; and,

WHEREAS, Paymentus Corporation provides these services at 10-50% less cost, depending on the type of payment, and is also easier to use; and,

WHEREAS, Paymentus Corporation provides better services through a dedicated phone number for West Allis payers, and its processing directly downloads information to City computers.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the attached agreement between the City of West Allis and the Paymentus Corporation be and is hereby approved.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to execute said agreement on behalf of the City.
