Title

An Ordinance to repeal subsection 2.61(2)(b) and create subsection 2.64(2)(d) of the City of West Allis Revised Municipal Code to transfer the duties of City Comptroller from the Director of Administration & Finance to the Finance Manager.

Body

The Common Council of the City of West Allis do ordain as follows:

PART I.  Section 2.61(2)(b) of the City of West Allis Revised Municipal Code is hereby repealed.

PART II.  Section 2.64(2) of the City of West Allis Revised Municipal Code is hereby amended to add the following new paragraph.

2.64                     FINANCE MANAGER.

(2)                     Duties and Responsibilities.  The Finance Manager shall:

(d)                     Perform the duties of City Comptroller, prescribed in Sec. 62.09(10) of the Wisconsin Statutes.

PART III.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

PART IV.  This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and publication.
