Title
An Ordinance to Amend Subsections 12.40(1)(l); 12.40(2)(a); 12.41(1)(l) & 12.42(1)(t) of the West Allis Revised Municipal Code Relating to Exceptions for Check Cashing Businesses as Permitted and Special Uses in C-1 Central Business Districts, C-2 Neighborhood Commercial Districts and C-3 Community Commercial Districts.

The Common Council of the City of West Allis do ordain as follows:
PART I. Subsections 12.40(1)(l); 12.40(2)(a); 12.41(1)(l) & 12.42(1)(t) of the Revised Municipal Code of the City of West Allis are hereby amended to read:
12.40 C-1 CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT.

(1) Permitted Uses.
* * *
(l) Financial institutions without drive-through facilities, except check cashing businesses as defined in Section 9.32.

(2) Special Uses.
(a) Any permitted use with drive-through facilities, except check cashing businesses as defined in Section 9.32.

12.41 C-2 NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL DISTRICT.

(1) Permitted Uses.
* * *
(l) Financial institutions except check cashing businesses as defined in Section 9.32.
* * *
12.42 C-3 COMMUNITY COMMERCIAL DISTRICT.
* * *
(1) Permitted Uses.
* * *
(t) Loan offices, except check cashing businesses as defined in Section 9.32.
PART II. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
PART III. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
