Resolution Relative to the Notice of Hearing for the Vacation and Discontinuance of a Public Alley off of South 81^st Street and South of West Greenfield Avenue.

Body

WHEREAS, the City is considering vacating and discontinuing a Public Alley off of South 81^st Street and South of West Greenfield Avenue.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Notice of Hearing, a copy of which is attached hereto, for the vacation and discontinuance of a Public Alley off of South 81^st Street and South of West Greenfield Avenue, be published in the official City newspaper, the NOW, on March 10^th, 2011, March 17^th 2011 and March 24^th, 2011; that the Hearing be scheduled before the Common Council on April 5^th, 2011, at 7:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard; that a copy of the aforesaid Notice be served or mailed more than thirty (30) days prior to the Hearing in the manner prescribed by the law on the owners of all of the frontage of the lots and lands abutting upon the said portion of an alley proposed to be vacated and discontinued.
