Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Keiser Corporation to provide Fitness Equipment for a total net sum of $12,960.18.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received a proposal for furnishing and delivering fitness equipment to the West Allis Senior Center; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Keiser Corporation be accepted; and,
WHEREAS, the West Allis Health Department has determined that this contract is inappropriate for competitive selection due to the request of the West Allis Senior Center to have equipment specifically designed for seniors that has been approved by the Wellness Works program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated March 8, 2005 submitted by Keiser Corporation, to furnish and deliver various Keiser fitness equipment for the total net sum of $12,960.18 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
