National Avenue in the City of West Allis in the amount of $199,077.00

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of Poblocki Paving Corporation for 2014 Project No. 20 be accepted.
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of Poblocki Paving Corporation for 2014 Project No. 20 for the construction of an asphalt parking lot, permeable interlocking concrete pavement system, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, pavement marking, landscaping and utility adjustments in the:
 
Chalet Parking Lot
6200 Block of W. National Avenue
Tax Key No. 454-0073-001

for the sum of One Hundred Ninety-Nine Thousand Seventy-Seven and 00/100 dollars ($199,077.00)
 
be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,
 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said improvements be installed with funding from Activity No. C13410, Six Points Parking Lot - Chalet, of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program.
