Title
Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Masters Building Solutions for one (1) Dristeam Steam to Steam Model STS-100C Humidifier along with funding for miscellaneous materials for installation in an amount not to exceed $15,000.
Body
WHEREAS, the humidifier for City Hall unexpectedly failed recently and without replacement the resulting low humidity will cause static electricity problems for the computer systems and uncomfortable conditions for staff and the public during the winter season; and
 
WHERAS, The Building and Sign Division of the Department of Public Works has reported that it has received three proposals to replace the humidifier in City Hall: and,
 
WHEREAS, the Division has selected one (1) Dristeam Steam to Steam Model STS-100C humidifier from Masters Building Solutions; and,
 
WHEREAS, The Common Council of the City of West Allis deems it to be in the best interests of the City that the proposal of Masters Building Solutions be accepted.
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated March 10, 2014 submitted by Masters Building Solutions to furnish and install one (1) Dristeam Steam to Steam Model STS-100C Humidifier for the sum of $10,300.00 be and is hereby accepted.
 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sum of $15,000, to include the proposal of Masters Building Solutions for $10,300, plus $4,700 for miscellaneous materials for installation by Department of Public Works' employees is hereby approved with funding though the appropriate City account.
 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to issue a purchase order for the aforesaid.
