Title

Resolution authorizing change of the polling place for the Twenty-second Ward of the Fourth Aldermanic District from Franklin Field House to Franklin School.

Body

WHEREAS, Franklin Field House is the current voting location for Ward 22 of the Fourth Aldermanic District; and,

WHEREAS, the facilities at Franklin Field House are sometimes crowded and the accommodations require improvement such as lighting, space, activity regulation and room temperature; and,

WHEREAS, it is necessary to move the polling place to another location; and,

WHEREAS, Franklin School is located in the 22^nd Ward of the Fourth Aldermanic District and can be accommodated as a voting place with minimal preparation since Franklin School is also used as a polling place for Ward 13 of the Second Aldermanic District.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the polling place for the Twenty-second Ward of the Fourth Aldermanic District shall be changed from Franklin Field House, 1964 S. 86 St., to Franklin School, 2060 S. 86 St., and said location is hereby designated as the polling place for the Twenty-second Ward of the Fourth Aldermanic District, effective with the February, 2006 Spring Primary.
