An Ordinance to establish the salaries of certain Miscellaneous Employees of the City of West Allis for 2008-2010.

 

Body

The Common Council for the City of West Allis do ordain as follows:

 

PART I.  The wage and salary ranges of the following miscellaneous employees commencing January 1, 2006 shall be as follows:

 

 Bi-Weekly  (2)

                     

Part-Time Custodian: 

$11.00/Hr. (1/1/08); $12.00/Hr. (1/1/09); $12.00/Hr. (1/1/10)

 

Provisional Laborers: 

$9.00/Hr. (1/1/08); $10.00/Hr. (1/1/09); $10.00/Hr. (1/1/10)

 

Seasonal Laborers:

- 1st Year:   $7.50/Hr. (1/1/08); $8.00/Hr. (1/1/09); $8.00/Hr. (1/1/10)

- 2nd Year:  $8.00/Hr. (1/1/08); $8.50/Hr. (1/1/09); $8.50/Hr. (1/1/10)

- 3rd Year:  $8.50/Hr. (1/1/08); $9.00/Hr. (1/1/09); $9.00/Hr. (1/1/10)

- 4th Year:  $9.00/Hr. (1/1/08); $9.50/Hr. (1/1/09); $9.50/Hr. (1/1/10)

 

Library Page:  $7.50/Hr. (1/1/08); $8.00/Hr. (1/1/09); $8.00/Hr. (1/1/10)

Election Inspectors: 

$90.00/Day (1) (1/1/08); $95.00/Day (1) (1/1/09); $95.00/Day (1) (1/1/10)

(1)                     Shall receive $5.00 additional for attending instructional meeting prior to each primary and regular election; for 2008, the Chief Election Inspector shall receive an additional $20.00 and the Assistant Chief Election Inspector shall receive an additional $10.00 for service at each primary and regular election; for 2009 and 2010, $25.00 and $12.50, respectively.

 

 

(2)                     The above pay rates represent resident (R) rates.  These resident pay rates shall be reduced by 2% for perimeter status employees.

 

 

PART II.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

 

PART III.  This ordinance shall take effect January 1, 2008 and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
