Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Wausau Equipment Co. for furnishing and delivering four (4) truck snow plows for a total sum of $38,120.00.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for furnishing and delivering truck snow plows to the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Wausau Equipment Co. be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated July 20, 2015 submitted by Wausau Equipment Co. for furnishing four (4) 2015 Wausau Equipment Co. #HSP4211H severe duty polyethylene truck snow plows for a total sum of $38,120.00 in accordance with City of West Allis RFP #1286 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
