Resolution Relative to the Notice of Hearing for the Discontinuance and Vacation of a 386' long x 18' wide Portion of the City Right-of-Way Along the South Side of West National Avenue Between South 78^th Street and South 80^th Street.

Body

WHEREAS, the City of West Allis is considering discontinuing and vacating a 386' long x 18' wide portion of the City Right-of-Way along the South side of West National Avenue between South 78^th Street and South 80^th Street.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Notice of Hearing, a copy of which is attached hereto, for the discontinuance and vacation of a 386' long x 18' wide Portion of the City Right-of-Way along the South side of West National Avenue between South 78^th Street and South 80^th Street, be published in the official City newspaper, NOW, on July 12^th, 2007, July 19^th, 2007 and July 26^th, 2007; that the Hearing be scheduled before the Common Council on August 7^th, 2007, at 7:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard; that a copy of the aforesaid Notice be served or mailed more than thirty (30) days prior to the Hearing in the manner prescribed by the law on the owners of all of the frontage of the lots and lands abutting upon the said street right-of-way proposed to be discontinued.
