Title

Resolution relative to accepting the sole source proposal of BP Logix for providing a Property Code Violation and Complaint System for a total cost of $25,000.

 

 

Body

WHEREAS, the Office of Information Technology has received a proposal for providing a Property Code Violation and Complaint System for the Department of Building Inspection and Neighborhood Services, Health Department, Department of Development, Police Department and the Department of Public Works; and,

 

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of BP Logix be accepted; and

 

WHEREAS, the Office of Information Technology has determined that this contract is inappropriate for competitive selection because BP Logix is our current Business Process Management (BPM) System provider and is best suited for the design and development of this application.

 

WHEREAS, the funding for this system will come from the Productivity Fund of the Capital Improvement Program.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal submitted by BP Logix for providing a Property Code Violation and Complaint System for a total net sum of $25,000 be and is hereby accepted.

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that an amount of $25,000 be transferred from the Productivity Fund of the Capital Improvement Program to the Information Technology account 100-1101-517-7009.

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Office of Information Technology be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid system.
