Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Intergraph Corporation for providing GIS Software Support and Upgrade Maintenance for a total net sum of $11,913.00.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received a proposal for furnishing GIS software support and upgrade maintenance for the Information Technology Division of the City of West Allis, that the proposal received was reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, the Information Technology Division has determined that this contract is inappropriate for competitive selection due to a preference for having maintenance performed by the equipment manufacturer; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Intergraph Corporation be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated May 25, 2006 submitted by Intergraph Corporation for furnishing GIS software support and upgrade maintenance for the period June 1, 2006 through May 31, 2007 for the total net sum of $11,913.00 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the foresaid services.
