Title

An Ordinance to Create Subsection 9.02(3)(f) of the Revised Municipal Code Relating to Issuance of Provisional Retail Licenses.

Body

The Common Council of the City of West Allis do ordain as follows:

PART I.      Subsection 9.02(3)(f) of the Revised Municipal Code of the City of West Allis is hereby created to read:

9.02      ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES.

(3)      Applications for Class "A" and "B" Retail License.

(f)      Provisional Retail License.  Pursuant to Wisconsin Statute Section 125.185, the City Clerk is authorized to issue provisional retail licenses.  Licenses shall be granted only to applicants who have possessed a valid retail license for the sale of alcoholic beverages within the past year.  The fee for such license shall be fifteen dollars ($15.00) and shall be paid to the clerk before issuance.

PART II.      All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

PART III.      This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
