Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Truck Country of WI for furnishing two (2) 41,000 GVW Cab & Chassis for a total sum of $168,844.00.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for furnishing and delivering two (2) 41,000 GVW Cab & Chassis to the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposal received as shown on the attached bid report was reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Truck Country of WI be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated June 23, 2015 submitted by Truck Country of WI for furnishing two (2) 2016 Freightliner 108SD Cab & Chassis for $79,983.00 each; air brakes for $1439.00 each; 5-yr extended warranty for $2550.00 each; and right side air bag assist for one (1) truck for $900.00 for a total sum of $168,844.00 in accordance with City of West Allis RFP 1282 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
