Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Kayser Ford for furnishing two (2) light trucks for a total sum of $37,955.00.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received a joint proposal through V.A.L.U.E. in Local Government for furnishing and delivering light trucks for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received were reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Kayser Ford be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal submitted by Kayser Ford for furnishing and delivering one (1) 2004 Ford F250 8600 GVW 4x2 pickup truck for $13,672.00 and one (1) Ford F450 15000 GVW 4x2 cab and chassis for $24,283.00 each for the total sum of $37,955.00 in accordance with V.A.L.U.E. in Local Government Bid #0403 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
