Title

Resolution approving the 2013 solid waste fund user charge.

Body

WHEREAS, Section 15.03 authorizes the Common Council to revise the solid waste user charges necessary to insure that the system generates adequate revenues to pay the cost of operation and maintenance; and,

WHEREAS, the 2013 budget, approved by the Common Council on November 20, 2012, requires no change to the solid waste user charge to pay the cost of operation and maintenance.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the quarterly solid waste user charge remain $24.81 per residential unit, be and is hereby approved.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Manager be and is hereby directed to notify each user of the Solid Waste Collection of the aforesaid rate as provided in Section 1.07(4)(f) of the Revised Municipal Code.
