Title
An Ordinance to amend Section 7.126(5)(b) of the City of West Allis Revised Municipal Code regarding the establishment of a $25.00 fee for the contesting of a dangerous dog order.
Body
The Common Council of the City of West Allis do ordain as follows:
PART I. Section 7.126(5)(b) of the City of West Allis Revised Municipal Code shall be amended by adding the following sentence at the end of the existing language:
"A non-refundable twenty-five dollar ($25.00) fee is required for an owner's or caretaker's contesting of any dangerous dog order. Said fee shall be submitted at the time of and with the written objection stating the reason for contesting the order."
PART II. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
PART III. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and publication.
