Title
Resolution amending a professional services contract with Landscape Architects, Inc. for the South 70 Street Gateway Design in an amount not to exceed $3,500.
Body
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of West Allis, by Resolution No. 25581, adopted January 6, 1998, approved an agreement for land planning and landscape architectural services in the South 70 Street Corridor area; and,
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of West Allis, by Resolution No.27242 adopted November 19, 2002, approved an agreement with Landscape Architects, Inc. for a gateway design within the South 70 Street Corridor area; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the Agreement to provide for additional services (the “Amendment”).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis as follows:
1. That the proposal, hereby attached and made a part hereof; for the scaled model of the gateway monument sculpture design feature, as received from Landscape Architects, Inc. for the South 70 Street Corridor is hereby approved in concept.
2. That the Director of Development or his designee be and is hereby authorized and directed to have prepared a contract (work order) for the aforesaid proposal.
3. That the City Attorney be and is hereby authorized to make such non-substantive changes, modifications, additions and deletions to and from the various provisions of the Agreement, including any and all attachments, exhibits, addendums and amendments, as may be necessary and proper to correct inconsistencies, eliminate ambiguity and otherwise clarify and supplement said provisions to preserve and maintain the general intent thereof, and to prepare and deliver such other and further documents as may be reasonably necessary to complete the transactions contemplated therein.
4. That the sum of Three Thousand Five Hundred and no/100 Dollars ($3,500) be and is hereby appropriated from the Community Development Block Grant Funds to pay...
